An experience that leaves a mark…
Ayamonte has an interesting naval history and we have set out for our students to get to know it through our themed parties. Weekly we focus on a naval event and we culminate it in a fun special activity on Fridays, giving our participants an unforgettable experience.
Within these themed festivities, we address different historical episodes linked to the area of Isla Canela and the Ayamonte coast, such as the presence of the Phoenicians in Isla Canela and their commercial and maritime legacy; the supposed passage of the Vikings along the Ayamonte coast; the sinking of the San Bruno and the Concepción, which are part of the naval memory of the area, giving name to one of our beaches; the naval Battle of Ayamonte, key in the maritime conflicts of the 17th century; and the era of piracy in Ayamonte, which reflects the strategic and commercial importance that this coastal enclave had throughout history.
At the end of the camp we put a badge on their diploma so that they remember this activity.
