Regattas are sailing competitions in which several boats compete following a course marked by buoys or waypoints, using only the power of the wind and the skill of their crew. These events are governed by specific regatta rules, whose goal is to ensure safety, equality of conditions, and fair play among all participants.
At our school, in addition to organizing regattas, we carry out specific training sessions where technical and tactical aspects are worked on, such as starts, courses, maneuvers around buoys, decision making, and wind reading.

We hold the regattas during the months of July and August, taking advantage of the best summer winds and the motivation of our groups. Each race and each training session feature routes adapted both to the day’s conditions and to the sailors’ skill levels, with safe but challenging starts, designed to learn, improve, and enjoy the competition from an educational and fun perspective.

Additionally, both training sessions and regattas are conducted in different sailing modalities, allowing students to get to know and adapt to different boats and ways of sailing. We work with windsurfing in its different variants (sails 3.0, 5.0, and parking mode), catamarans, Hobie Cat 15, Hobie Cat Carty, Catalan sail skiff, and monohulls, always adjusting the equipment to the participants’ level, age, and experience. This variety in modalities enriches learning, improves nautical versatility, and promotes more comprehensive progression.
