Where curiosity sails with us
At our sailing school, we believe that learning to sail not only means knowing the wind and the sails, but also knowing and respecting the environment around us, including the ocean. That is why we have decided to carry out an exciting project for the students called Discover the Ocean.
Throughout the activity on the beach and in the sea, students can closely observe the marine life that accompanies us every day. Seagulls, dolphins, crabs, clams, fish, seaweed… are part of this educational adventure. We believe that learning about some aspects of them will provide our students with respect for the environment, which will help them better appreciate the place where we are and to transfer that interest to other environments in the future.

To accompany them in this discovery, we have prepared special cards with basic, curious, and interesting information about each animal that inhabits our ocean. During the activities, the students will be taking out these cards and learning small facts about their habitat, their diet, and their importance to the ecosystem. With this information, we are going to create our own peculiar marine logbook.

In this way, we transform each trip to the ocean into an experience full of learning, curiosity, and respect for nature. Children not only enjoy sailing, but also develop a greater environmental awareness and a more attentive view of the world around them.
At the end of the camp we put a badge on their diploma so that they remember this activity.
